I’m Miya, a designer who has worked in corporate communications for several organizations in conservation, education, magazine publishing, and healthcare. With over 25 years of experience in the design industry, I am passionate about my clients and communicating their mission and messages that have an impact in the world.
I have worked on branding campaigns, annual reports, magazines, books, brochures, and event collateral. My first job for a nonprofit, educational organization was the foundation to develop my skills: immersing myself into branding, creating mission-driven marketing and communications, and understanding target audiences.
I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in graphic design and have served on the Art Advisory Board, mentoring students.
